ORDER

The petitioner is the wife, who is the respondent in G.W.O.P.No.261 of 2024, which is pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu, seeking to transfer the above proceedings to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner/wife would submit that the divorce proceeding has now been transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai and therefore, in order to have joint trial of G.W.O.P.No.261 of 2024 along with the divorce petition, the petitioner has come forward with the present transfer petition. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent/husband would fairly submit that the respondent has no objection for the transfer petition being ordered. 5.In view of the above, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the case in G.W.O.P.No.261 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu, and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, to be tried along with HMOP.No.116 of 2024. The Principal Family Court, Chennai, shall dispose of G.W.O.P.No.261 of 2024, on or before 28th February, 2026. There shall be no order as to costs.
