ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2026.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 13.03.2026 before the 2nd and 3rd respondents to retract the illegal election notification, to assume direct management of the Waqf under Section 64 (i) (j) of the Waqf Act 1995, take action against the violators, and thereafter conduct a fresh, fair, and transparent election. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Mr.Mohammed Fayaz Ali, learned Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2026 will be considered within a period of twelve weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the
petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
