This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.02.2024 and 12.04.2024 in accordance with law.

Mr.A.Gangadharan, learned Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

The petitioner/company states that it had taken a loan from several banks and had repaid the same. Despite the repayment, the petitioner/company pleads that the charge still reflects on the file of the second respondent. In order to remove the charge, the petitioner/company 2/5

had made representations on 16.02.2024 and 12.04.2024, seeking for updating the register. However, as the same has not been done so far, the petitioner/company has come forward with the present writ petition. 4.

Without going into merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 16.02.2024 and 12.04.2024 and dispose of the same within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Prior to passing an order, the second respondent shall hear the petitioner and all the institutions, whose charges reflect on its records as of today. 5.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
