C.M.P.No.10969 of 2020 in C.M.A.SR NO.65099 of 2020 V.BHARATHIDASAN.J., This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking exemption of payment of court-fees in the civil miscellaneous appeal.
2. The petitioners are the claimants before the Tribunal. Being aggrieved over the inadequacy of the compensation awarded, they are before this court with an appeal along with the present application seeking exemption of payment of court-fees, mainly on the grounds that, so far the respondent corporation has not deposited the compensation amount awarded by the Tribunal and due to pandemic situation, the petitioners are not in a position to mobilize funds for payment of court-fees. The learned counsel for the petitioners however submitted the petitioners undertake to pay the requisite court fees at a later point of time, as and when required by the Registry.

3. Considering the submissions made above, the petitioners are exempted from payment of court fees in the appeal for the present and he is permitted to file the appeal without court-fees. It is however made clear that the petitioners should pay the requisite court-fees as and when they are required to pay the same.
