With the consent of either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2. The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent, namely, the Additional Chief Secretary / https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chepauk, Chennai - 5 to dispose of the appeal dated 29.07.2017.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the documents placed on record.
4. Admittedly, the petitioner has suffered an order dated 19.07.2017, against which, he had preferred an appeal on 29.07.2017. However, even after, three months the appeal has not been taken up. In such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case and considering the limited prayer sought for, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal petition, on merits and in accordance with law preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the parties.
With the above said observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
