The case on hand pertains to the preparation of promotion panel for the post of Superintendent of Police (Non-Cadre).

In W.P.No.10456 of 2025 an interim order was passed on 24.03.2025. Paragraph no.5 of the said order reads as follows: "5.The first and second respondents may await further orders of this Court before proceeding further, consequent to the impugned orders."

Challenging the same, these two writ appeals have been filed. 5.

Both sides agreed that the panel preparation process can go on, but, it will not be implemented without getting orders from the learned Single Judge. It is made clear that this would be without prejudice to the contention of the writ petitioners.

The learned Single Judge may take up the writ petition for final disposal on 03.06.2025.

Accordingly, these writ appeals are disposed of. No costs. Connected C.M.Ps. are closed.
