ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct field measurement in favour of the petitioner as per application No.2024/N123/03/002148 dated 24.06.2024 and by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2024.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's mother and sisters jointly executed a settlement deed dated 01.11.2019, registered as Document No.6257/2019 before the Sub Registrar No.11, Kanchipuram in favour of the petitioner for the property comprised in Old Survey No.25/Part new Survey No.381/11, situated at Kalur Village, Walajabad Taluk, Kanchipuram District. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application in application No.2024/N123/03/002148 on 24.06.2024 before the respondents to conduct field measurement of the subject property. Since the said application was 2/6

not considered by the respondents, the petitioner again submitted a representation on 28.06.2024 before the first respondent to conduct field measurement of the subject property and has also paid necessary charges. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

On this being pointed out, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2024 and conduct field measurement of the subject property and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2024 and conduct field measurement of the subject property and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy, after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the 3/6
