Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to fix and pay the compensation in respect of the lands situate in Periakanganankuppam Village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District bearing New S.Nos.29/4 - Hec.0.53.0; 29/5 - Hec.0.11.0; 21/3 - Hec.1.43.0 (Now 29/3A1A, 29/3A1B, 29/3A2, 29/3A3, 29/3A4, 29/3B - Ac.1.60) 30/5 - Hec.0.54.0 and 55/1 - Hec.1.60.0 in which constructions have been made and road laid together with interest. O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to fix and pay the compensation in respect of the lands situated at Periakanganankuppam Village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District bearing New S. Nos. 29/4 - Hec.0.53.0; 29/5 - Hec.0.11.0; 21/3 - Hec.1.43.0 (Now 29/3A1A, 29/3A1B, 29/3A2, 29/3A3, 29/3A4, 29/3B - Ac.1.60) 30/5 - Hec.0.54.0 and 55/1 - Hec.1.60.0 in which constructions have been made and road laid, together with interest. The Respondents have filed Counter Affidavit stating that the land belongs to the Government and the Petitioner has no right over the said land. 2.

In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
