ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent 1 to 5 to declare the land comprised in Survey No.3 /1 situated at Puthur Village Vandalur Taluk, Chengelput District Collector and Chairman of DRD, vide Rc No.2848 /2020 / A12 dated 28/02/2021 as Public Road to be exclusively used for the benefit of the General public, more particularly for the people living Thiruvencheri and Mappedu village.

2. Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Upon perusal, it appears that this matter is pending for nearly 5 years. In spite of the same, none-appeared on behalf of the petitioner. In such case, it is clear that the petitioner has no interest in adjudicating this matter.

4. Therefore, considering the long pendency of this matter, this Court is inclined to dismiss the present petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is

dismissed for non-prosecution. No cost. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
