PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to pass final orders in the patta cancellation enquiry pursuant to proceedings in R.C.6361/2013/AA dated 08.05.2015 in respect of land measuring about 28121⁄2 square feet in Old

S.No.168/2, New S.No.274/6 at Puthur Keezhlmugam Village, Thiruchengodu Taluk, and pass orders.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass final orders on the appeal/representation made by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the cancellation of the patta granted in favour of the fifth respondent.

2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the second respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 27.10.2020 at 11 a.m. Learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all relevant documents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already called the parties for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to afford sufficient opportunity to all the parties concerned and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
