Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondent to register the case, dated 7.2.2015, given by the petitioners and to register an FIR against Raja alias Pormanna Raja and his men within the stipulated time.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/Police that the petitioner did not appear before the Police for enquiring into the complaint given by him to the Chief Minister Cell. The said submission is vehemently repudiated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, by stating that the petitioner appeared before the Police and the Police were insisting on the petitioner to compromise the matter.

Considering the above submissions made by both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to register the case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, if cognizable offence is made out, by following https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others, reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)] .
