Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the last representation dated 27.3.2013 and issue Patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of the land at Pukuthurai Village, Mathuranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, comprised in Survey No.396, 396/8C2, measuring 2 3⁄4 cent in patta No.396, 396/8C2. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 27.3.2013 and to issue patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of their lands in S.Nos.396, 396/8C2, measuring to an extent of 2 3⁄4 cents.

2. Mr.B.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent, in Na.Ka.No.826/2018/Aa, dated 27.02.2018, has sent a recommendation to the Sub Collector, Maduranthakam, for issuing joint patta in the name of the petitioners and he has produced a copy of the same for perusal of this Court.

3. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this Court directs the Sub Collector, Maduranthakam, to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
