Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.13250 of 2020 dated 31.08.2020 that the petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- jointly, either through RTGS/NEFT or in cash to the credit of Crime No.43 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to Judicial Magistrate-II, Udumalpet. O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court had directed the petitioners to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- jointly, either through RTGS/NEFT or in cash to the credit of Crime number before the respondent police. He would submit that the respondent police are refusing to accept the amount stating that they do not have specific ledger or account to receive the amount.
2.In view of the same, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.13250 of 2020 dated 31.08.2020 is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- jointly to the credit of Cr.No.43 of 2019, before learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Udumalpet within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
