Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to issue the necessary hall tickets to the 25 students(listed in the Annexure) of the petitioner institute who have under gone their First Year D.T.Ed., course for the academic year 2008-09, to sit for the examinations (theory and practical)which is to be conduced from 30.06.09 and on subsequent dates and consequently publish their results thereafter.

O R D E R

The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue hall ticket to the students of the petitioner institute for the practical examination scheduled to be held on 30.06.2009 and consequently, publish the result.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that since the relief sought for herein is related to the academic year 2008-2009, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.

3.In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
