O R D E R
The petitioner is the widow of Thiru Nagooran, who worked as Mazdoor in Chennai Port Trust. The husband of the petitioner was removed from the roll of Dock Labour Board with effect from 12.7.1991 He was granted Provident Fund, Gratuity and Family Security Scheme after he was removed from the roll on account of medical reasons. The husband of the petitioner died on 15.05.2012. The petitioner obtained a legal heir certificate from the Family Court in O.S.No.239 of 2012 and produced the same before the respondents for the purpose https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of passing orders to pay her Family Pension. However, there was no follow up action taken by the respondents, resulting in filing this Writ Petition.
2. None appears on behalf of the respondents, inspite of printing the name of the respondents in the cause list.
3. The respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.11.2014 on merits and as per law and in the light of the judgment in O.S.No.239 of 2012 on the file of First Additional Family Court, Chennai. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
