ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 15-10-2014. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present.

It is averred in the petition that the petitioner, as defacto complainant, has given a complaint dated 15-10-2014, wherein it is stated to the effect that on the date of occurrence, the son of the defacto complainant has attacked him as well as his wife and also driven them away from the house. Under the said circumstances, the complaint in question has been given. But the second respondent has not registered the same and therefore, the present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

Considering the nature of allegations made in the complaint dated 15-10-2014, the following direction can be given to the second respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The second respondent is directed to look into the allegations made in the complaint dated 1510-2014 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
