O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to instruct the third respondent to de-freeze the account bearing number 1246004883 in the petitioner's name maintained with the third respondent within a time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first and second respondents, on instructions, states that as instructed by the second respondent, the third respondent froze the account of the petitioner since the petitioner's account has been used as a second-layer account by the 2/5

accused and a sum of Rs.13,027/- was deposited. However, the third respondent now froze the account of the petitioner and did not permit the petitioner to operate his account apart from the said amount.

4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to hold the sum of Rs.13,027/- under lien and permit the petitioner to operate his account apart from the said amount.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
