3. This Court, while considering a similar prayer, has passed an order on 26.10.2017 in W.P.Nos.27475 and 27476 of 2017 [V.Saravanakumar and another v. Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Housing), Chennai] directing the respondent to consider the representation on merits. In view thereof, these writ petitions stand disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioners on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, in the light of the proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies dated 21.8.2008, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
