O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to conduct enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner and to carryout corrections in the revenue records relating to the property of the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property by virtue of sale deed dated 12.10.2000. The petitioner further claims that the patta was also issued in his favour in patta No.2466 for the sub-divided survey No.374/13. Subsequently, a computerised patta was issued for this survey number to some other person. The petitioner, on coming to know of the same, made representations to the second respondent and the second respondent by his letter dated 22.02.2019, directed the third respondent to conduct enquiry and to carry out necessary corrections in the revenue records. Since the same was not completed by the third respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. When this Writ Petition was pending, a status report was filed by the third respondent before this Court. In the status report, the third respondent had stated that some more documents will have to be furnished by the petitioner in order to come to final conclusion. After the status report was filed, the petitioner made a detailed representation along with all the documents to the third respondent on 06.09.2019.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that till date no action has been taken by the third respondent even after all the particulars were furnished.

5. Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the third respondent will consider the claim made by the petitioner in line with the latest representation made by him on 06.09.2019 and after considering all the documents furnished by the petitioner.

6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall a direction to the third respondent to proceed further with the enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner on 06.09.2019 along with the documents furnished by the petitioner and if necessary, shall also issue notice to the necessary parties and final orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with the copy of this order.

7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
