ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to give necessary direction to the respondent to register the complaint dated 26-01-2015 alleged to have been given by the petitioner. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present.

It is averred in the petition that the petitioner, as defacto complainant, has given a complaint dated 26-01-2015, wherein it is stated that the persons mentioned therein have hurled invectives against the petitioner and others by using filthy words. Under the said circumstances, the complaint in question has been given. But the respondent has not registered the same and therefore, the present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

Considering the nature of relief sought for in the petition and also the nature of allegations made in the complaint dated 26-01-2015, the following direction can be given to the respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The respondent is directed to look into the complaint dated 26-01-2015 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
