This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st Respondent police to register a case for the various cognizable offences on the basis of the complaint dated 26.12.2014 against the persons named in the complaint.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.520 of 2014 before the first respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
