ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of the NDPS Act, in Crime No.77 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1.200 kgs of ganja and Tydol tablets - 8 Nos. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has 8 previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the quantity of the contraband involved in this case and upon the fact that the petitioner has 8 previous cases, this Court is of the firm view that the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. 2/4
