Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 2nd respondent to file a report pertaining to the detention of the detenue by name Mrs.Jyothi Mandal and in pursuance direct the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, to dispose the Crl.M.P.No.7254 of 2024 in Crime No.21 of 2024 on the file of 1st respondent as expeditiously.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to file a report pertaining to the detention of the detenue by name, Mrs.Jyothi Mandal , who is the victim in the case registered under Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions submits that the petition seeking custody of the victim girl is pending before the IV Metropolitan 2/5

Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.7254 of 2024. The second respondent, Chief Probation Superintendent has submitted his report to the Court for consideration.

3. Taking note of the fact that the second respondent has already submitted his report to the Court concerned, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai to take note of the report of the Probation Officer and to pass an appropriate order in the pending Crl.M.P.No.7254 of 2024. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
