..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to refer the Award No. 10 of 2023 dated 31.10.2023 to the competent Civil Court under Section 64 of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and pass orders regarding the rightful compensation amount payable to the Petitioner.

W.M.P.No.18086 of 2026 filed seeking permission to the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to refer the Award No.10 of 2023 dated 31.10.2023 to the competent Civil Court as per the provisions of Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The petitioners have given a representation 13.08.2025 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition.

3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 13.08.2025, seeking for referring the Award No.10 of 2023 dated 31.01.2023 to the competent Civil Court as per the provisions of Section 64 of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2025. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 13.08.2025, seeking for a direction to refer the Award No.4 of 2023 dated 12.05.2023 to the competent Civil Court under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
