ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondent Nos.4 and 5 is dispense with.

2. The writ petition has been filed to direct respondents 1 to 3 to take suitable legal action in pursuance to petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that respondents 4 and 5 have been excavating sand without obtaining requisite permission/license from competent authorities, as a result, petitioner's agricultural operations in the adjacent land owned by him has been adversely affected. It is in such circumstances, that representation dated 10.03.2026 was made by petitioner to take suitable action again the illegal excavation of sand.

4. Learned State Counsel for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that after issuing notice to petitioner, adjacent land owners and any other interested parties, appropriate orders would be passed.

5. In view thereof, there shall be a direction to respondents 1 to 3, to consider petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after issuing notice and affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, respondents 4 and 5 and any other interested persons, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case.

6. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
