ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register F.I.R., on the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3.It is seen that the dispute essentially arose between the petitioner and the opposite party complainant in respect of chit transactions and in which, the defacto complainant is alleged to make some payment.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that on completing investigation, the respondent police have closed the case as the opposite party agreed to pay Rs.55,000/- each for the two chit transactions in two instalments to the petitioner. Regarding the same, the petitioner has also given a letter to the respondent police withdrawing his complaint.

5.Therefore, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be issued to the respondent. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
