ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take suitable action against the 6th respondent on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 11.08.2013.
2. Heard Mr.M.Gnanasekar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.N.Inbanathan, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for
the first, second, third and fifth respondents and Mr.G.Anantharangan, the learned counsel appearing for fourth and sixth respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the Commissioner, Chennai Corporation, Chennai to take action based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2013.
4. In the light of the above submission and considering the prayer sought for in this writ petition and without expressing any view on merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the Commissioner, Chennai Corporation, Chennai to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to all the necessary parties within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
