Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to extend the present bar licenses issued for the year 2020- 2021 for a period of 15 months from the date of expiry of bar license. O R D E R

Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R1 and Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for R2 and R3. They are both armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. By consent of both sides, the petitioner as well as the respondents, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the respondents to extend the bar licence issued to the petitioner for a period of 15 months from the date of expiry of bar license. In fact, the petitioner has sought the similar relief from the authorities by way of representation dated 03.07.2021, which has been received by the respondents on 09.07.2021.

3. Mr.Sathish Kumar would assure the Court that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed by R3 after hearing the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

4. In the light of the aforesaid submission, the mandamus sought for stands achieved and the District Manager, Tasmac/R3 is directed to dispose the representation of the petitioner in line with the principles of natural justice within a period of four (4) weeks from today.
