Mr. S. N. Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of her appeal dated 28.02.2017 filed against the order dated 13.02.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent cancelling the Gun license No.SBML No.14/98/E granted to the her, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of petitioner's appeal filed on 28.02.2017 as against the order passed by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent has not disposed of the same yet. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Mr.S. N. Parthasarathi , learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within a time frame, in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 28.02.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
