Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2021 for extension of the contract for Maintenance of 19 Nos Pay and Use Toilets in Fruit Market at Koyambedu Whole Sale Market Complex and Consequently for bear the respondent from evicting the petitioner from the premises without following the due process of law.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.07.2021, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the extension of the licence that was granted to him to collect the fees for maintenance of 19 Nos Pay and Use Toilets in Fruit Market at Koyambedu Whole Sale Market Complex.

2. Heard Mr.C.Vigneswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Velmurugan, learned counsel for the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.07.2021 and deal with the same on its own merits and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and convey the same to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
