Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to transfer the name and issue Patta to the petitioner's property being the Punja land measuring Acre 6.00 cents, comprised in Punja S.No.1211/1A1, situated at Thaiyur B-Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 27.07.2017. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider his representation dated 27.07.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for transferring Patta in his favour, in respect of the land situated at Thaiyur B-Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, measuring to an extent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of acre 6.00 cents comprised in Punja S.No.1211/1A1.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that his request was not considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
