This petition has been filed seeking for police protection. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner is a wife to seeking police protection against her husband. 3.In the matrimonial dispute, normally the respondent police should not interfere unless there is any physical violence committed against the wife.

5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate petition under the Domestic Violence Act and workout her remedy in accordance with law.
