ORDER

1. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated, 13.05.2023.

2. This Court heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Respondents.

3. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the representation, dated 13.05.2023 sent by him for grant of patta was not considered. B.PUGALENDHI, J.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the Respondents, producing the proceedings dated 24.05.2023 of the concerned Tahsildar, , submits that the land, for which patta was sought for by the Petitioner, is a Government Vaari Poramboke land and it has been classified as a water body and hence, it is not possible to grant patta to the Petitioner.

5. Considering the rival submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is closed, with a liberty to the Petitioner to file a civil suit before appropriate forum and establish his right in a manner known to law.
