Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 3 to 5 to transfer the petitioner's criminal complaint on the file of the 5th respondent to CB-CID Department for further enquiry and investigation and consequently direct the 7th respondent to take action and stringent measures against the 8th respondent College, Madurai and pay compensation to the petitioner's daughter.

(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The counter affidavit filed on this suo motu Public Interest Litigation taken up on a letter representation of a person qua certain allegations in the educational institutions avers that after investigation, the allegations have been found to be false and the colleague of the student did not substantiates such allegations. In fact, the finding is that it was a motivated complaint on account of action of college for irregularity of the student in attending the college. Personal motives are stated to have resulted in the complaint.

2. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is closed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
