ORDER
The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to survey the property comprised SF.No.817/2, 817/10, 817/17 at Pitagam village, Thirukovilur Taluk, Kallakurichi District with the aid of the 4th respondent police and to fix boundary lines within a reasonable time.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner had made several representations to respondents 1 to 3 to survey the subject property, however, respondents 1 to 3 have not surveyed the property. It is further submitted that petitioner made representation to respondent 1 to 3 on 07.04.2025, to survey the property with the aid of 4th respondent and has also paid necessary charges, but the same has not been considered by respondents. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3, that on 12.06.2025, petitioner was called upon by 2nd respondent for enquiry. The learned Special Government Pleader for Respondents would further submit that they would go ahead with enquiry and 2/5
survey the land and fix boundary lines, within the time fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider the representation of petitioner and survey the petitioner's land and submit a report within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties/stake holders. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
