Heard Mr.V.Purushothaman, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The petitioners seek for a direction to the respondent to issue legal heirship certificate on account of the death of their father M.Duraisamy. An application dated 11.10.2012 in this regard is pending before the 2nd respondent. Since no orders were passed, the petitioner submitted a representation on 12.01.2015 and has approached this Court for appropriate direction.
3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the contention of the petitioners, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners application dated 11.10.2012, followed by a representation dated 12.01.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
