Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents no.7 & 8 in the "Panchayat Road" in S.F.No.152/1A1 & 152/3A1 in Seenapuram Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District and to bring the road to its original form by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2023.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Arunprasath, learned counsel for Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.N.Stalin, learned counsel for the eighth respondent.

2. The encroachment is alleged on Panchayat road by the respondents 7 and 8.

3. The respondents 7 and 8 are served.

4. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the Tahsildar would survey the land and if necessary, would measure the land. Depending upon the survey report and if encroachment is found, then the authority would take action in accordance with law with regard to encroachment expeditiously.

5. In the light of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
