Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records pertaining to the detenu Appu @ Prabakaran S/o.Purusothaman, aged 35 years, who is detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as Drug Offender at Salem Central Prison, Salem, with the fourth respondent herein vide order in No.C3/D.O.No.32/2022 dated 22.05.2022 on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same and direct the fourth respondent herein to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Appu @ Prabakaran S/o.Purusothaman, aged 35 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C3/D.O.No.32/2022 dated 22.05.2022, holding him to be a "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2/4
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C3/D.O.No.32/2022 dated 22.05.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3951, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 01.07.2022 and produced a copy of the said order.
