Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's application vide CAN 0330704031629 and application ID 2016/0301/07/001232 dated 10.02.2016, and subsequently direct to the respondents herein to issue the financial assistances to the petitioner in the name of "MOOVALUR RAMAMIRTHAM AMMAIYAR NINAIVU MARRIAGE ASSISTANCE SCHEME" within a period fixed by this Hon'ble Court. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 10.02.2016, wherein and whereby she sought for financial assistance to her daughter's marriage in the name of "Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme".

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that her request was not considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.02.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
