Petitioner seeks a direction to learned Judge, Family Court, Salem, to expedite the trial in F.C.O.P.No.189 of 2009.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner/husband has filed F.C.O.P.No.189 of 2009 on the file of learned Judge, Family Court, Salem, seeking divorce. Learned counsel submits that proceedings have unduly been protracted. PW-2 in the case has been examined on 27.01.2015 and is yet to be cross-examined by respondent. Submitting as above, learned counsel prays for early disposal of the case.

4. Considering the said submissions, this Court directs learned Judge, Family Court, Salem, to dispose of F.C.O.P.No.189 of 2009 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four months from the date of receipt of this order.

The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
