2. Status report filed by the Sub Inspector of Police alleging that the defacto complainant is not co-operating for investigation.

3. It appears to be a lame excuse and clear exposure of the incapacity of the Sub Inspector of Police in this matter, particularly, when bail granted to prime accused was cancelled by this Court vide order dated 25.04.2024. The said person is still at large and it is reported that she is working in the Indian Overseas Bank, Sathyamangalam Branch, but the Investigating Officer could not even able to secure him in a case of fraud and cheating for more than Rs.66,00,000/- and 295grams of gold. Hence, It is appropriate to direct the Inspector General of Police, West Zone to transfer the investigation to any Officer not below the rank of DSP attached to District Crime Branch, Coimbatore and continue the investigation in the manner known to law and complete the 2/4

same preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
