This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.19 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, Ms.G.Anjalakshmi, Sub Inspector of Police, DCB, Kancheepuram is present before this Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that the post of Inspector of Police has been abolished in the District Crime Branch, Kancheepuram and that, investigation has been conducted by the Sub Inspector of Police, DCB, Kancheepuram.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that investigation is almost over and produced the necessary records.

6. Taking into consideration the aforesaid fact, the Sub Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Kancheepuram is directed to complete the investigation and file final report or closure report as the case may be, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, before the jurisdictional Court, under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
