ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking closure of complaint lodged by the fifth respondent.

2. It is seen that the fifth respondent is the husband of the petitioner herein. The petitioner as well as the fifth respondent are now residing in U.S. The fifth respondent is disputing their marriage certificate as if, it was obtained by committing forgery by the petitioner and lodged complaint through one registered post and it is pending on the file of the second respondent.

3. Now the petitioner sought for closure of the said complaint without any enquiry on the ground of jurisdiction.

4. Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that, on perusal of the complaint lodged by the fifth respondent, there are several allegations in respect of forgery and falsification of documents. Therefore, it has to be enquired by the second respondent.

5. In view of the above, the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking closure of complaint cannot be considered.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. No costs.

7. However, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose the complaint lodged by the fifth respondent within a period two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 23.04.2025 Index:Yes/No AT
