COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions are filed seeking to call for the records and quash the First Information Report in Crime Nos.133 and 134 of 2016 respectively on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chennai Central Railway Police, Chennai, as against the petitioners.
For the sake of convenience, the parties will be referred to by their name.

On the complaint lodged by Ramesh, the first respondent police registered a case in Crime No.133 of 2016 for offences under Sections 323 and 294(b), IPC read with Section 3(1) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, against Mohan. 4.
Likewise, on the complaint lodged by Mohan, the first respondent police registered a case in Crime No.134 of 2016 for offences under Sections 341 and 323, IPC against Ramesh.

Ramesh and Mohan are before this Court to quash both the FIRs on the ground that they have arrived at a compromise. 6.
Today, both Ramesh and Mohan are present before this Court and are identified by Mr. Ravi, Sub-Inspector of Police, Chennai Central Railway Police Station, who is also present before this Court.

Ramesh and Mohan have filed independent affidavits, wherein, they have stated that they both are employed in Railways and they had quarrelled over some petty issue and now, they have settled the issue between themselves and have prayed for quashment of the two FIRs.
In view of the above, FIRs in Crime Nos.133 and 134 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chennai, are quashed and both the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CCC) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar cad
