ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(2)(3) of Tamil Nadu Scheduled Commodity (RDCS) Order, 1982 and r/w Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Crime No.91 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner is working as a salesman in a ration shop where he misappropriated PDS items worth about Rs.92,700/-.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner herein had committed an offence of very serious nature, this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
