By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner was initially appointed as Scavenger on 13.06.1997 and her services were regularized with effect from 16.6.1999. She got promoted as Typist at Malliputhur and she has made a request transfer to Tirunelveli from Malliputhur. The petitioner, in this regard, has submitted a representation to the second respondent, who rejected the same by order dated 31.7.2015. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 24.08.2015 and since no orders have been passed, she came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider the appeal memorandum of the petitioner dated 24.08.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
