By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner, at present, is working as Secondary Grade Assistant Teacher at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Aroornthavadi (Village), Kudavasal Panchayat Union Unit, Thiruvarur District from 16.7.2009 and prayed for transfer to Nagercoil at Kanyakumari District for the reason that her husband is serving as District Coordinator in the office of the District Project Office, Sarva Shiksha Abiyan (SSA) and her two children and her elderly parents are living with her husband. However, the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 08.06.2015 in this regard failed to evoke any kind of response. Hence, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
