ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent not to arrest the petitioner in the garb of investigation.

The grievance of the petitioner is that earlier when the petitioner was called for an enquiry and there was an apprehension of arrest, the petitioner had filed an anticipatory bail petition before this Court and the respondent police had represented that there is no petition or enquiry pending against the petitioner. Recording the same, the anticipatory bail petition was closed in Crl.O.P.No.12316 of 2019, by an order dated 08.05.2019.

Inspite of the same, the petitioner is being again called for an enquiry by the respondent police and hence, the present petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police not to arrest the petitioner. 5.

It is made clear that the petitioner shall not be harassed by the respondent police and if at all there is any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint, the same shall be acted upon only in accordance with the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalitha Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353 and till then, the petitioner shall not be unnecessarily harassed by calling him for an enquiry.
