Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 11.12.2014 toward the payment of pension and retirement benefits of the petitioner's husband late M.Duraisamy.

The petitioner is the widow of Thiru.N.Duraisamy, who worked as a Conductor in Tamilnadu Transport Corporation. Her husband died on 14.02.2013. The second respondent failed to pay the retirement benefits to the petitioner besides pension. The petitioner therefore submitted a representation on 11.12.2014 requesting the second respondent to intervene in the matter and pass appropriate orders. The present request is to direct the second respondent to consider the said representation on merits.
2. The learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that there was a family dispute between the petitioner and her husband and that was the reason for keeping the matter pending.
3. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 11.12.2014 submitted by the petitioner on merits and as per law. 4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
