ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition directing the petitioner to report before H5, New Washermenpet Police Station, Chennai,

instead of Veraiyur Police Station, Tiruvannamalai District in Crl.O.P.No.9112 of 2026 dated 10.04.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner is taking treatment at Government Peripheral Hospital, Tondiarpet, Chennai, due to ill-health, he could not appear regularly before the respondent police. Hence, he prays for modification.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the said condition. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, New Washermenpet Police Station, Chennai, on every Saturday at 6.30 p.m, until further orders. Except the above modification, all other conditions imposed on the petitioner shall remain unaltered.
